Create your account and workspace
Sign up for OpenKuasa and get a workspace for your business in six short steps.
Signing up creates your account and a workspace for your business. You become the workspace owner.
Who can do this
Anyone with an email address. You do not need an invite. If someone sent you an invite link, open that link instead, so you join their workspace (see Join a workspace from an invite).
Steps
- On the OpenKuasa website, click Get Started. (From the sign-in page, click Sign up.)
- Which best describes your role? Pick the card that fits you, then click Continue.
- Tell us about your company. Fill in Company name, Industry, Company size and, if you like, Company website (optional). Click Continue.
- What would you like to focus on first? Pick one or more cards, then click Continue.
- What tools do you use? Pick the tools you use today, then click Continue.
- Where is your business based? Choose your Country and type your State / Region. Click Continue.
- Create your account. Check Business name (it starts with the company name you typed). Enter your Email and a Password of at least 8 characters.
- Click Create account.
From step 2 on, you can go back a step with Back. The bar at the bottom shows how far along you are.
When the account is ready, OpenKuasa opens Tuah, the home screen.
If you see Check your email to finish signing up instead, open the link in that email to confirm your address, then sign in. If OpenKuasa shows the setup steps again, go through them and click Create account. This time it makes your workspace.
The last step warns that OpenKuasa is a work in progress. Some screens work with your own data, and the rest still show sample data. Do not rely on it to run your business yet.
Common problems
- Password must be at least 8 characters. Choose a longer password.
- Please enter your business name. The Business name box on the last step is empty.
- Business name must be 120 characters or fewer. Shorten the name. You can add the full legal name later in Company details.
- Please enter a valid email address. Check the email for typing mistakes.
- Check your email to finish signing up. If you already have an account, sign in or reset your password instead. You see this both for a new address that must be confirmed and for an address that already has an account. If you already have one, sign in instead.
- The demo is read-only. Sign up with your email to create your own workspace. You are still signed in to the demo. Sign out first, then sign up.
