Kasturi settings

Set Kasturi's deal rule, choose your own Kasturi notifications, and export your contacts.

Settings holds Kasturi's own rule for deals, your own Kasturi notifications, and a copy of your contacts. It also links to where the rest of your workspace is set.

Who can do this

  • Everyone in the workspace can open Settings.
  • Only owners and admins can change the deal rule and export the contacts.
  • Everyone can choose their own notifications, except in the demo workspace.

Steps

Require a reason when a deal is lost

  1. Open Kasturi and choose Settings.
  2. Under Deal rules, tick Require a reason when a deal is marked lost.
  3. Click Save.

It applies to everyone, and to Kasturi AI. Deals already lost are not affected.

Choose your notifications

  1. Under My notifications, tick what Kasturi should tell you about:
    • New leads: when someone sends one of your lead forms, or asks for a person in a landing page's chat.
    • Deals won: when someone else in the workspace wins a deal.
  2. Click Save.

These are yours alone and appear under the bell at the top of the app. Nothing is emailed. The same switches are in Account, Notifications.

Export your contacts

  1. Under Your data, click Export contacts (CSV).
  2. The file downloads. It has each contact's name, email, phone, company, country, status, source, tags and the day they were added.

One file holds up to 50,000 contacts.

The rest of your workspace

  • Workspace shows your company and team, and links to where they are set in your account.
  • Pipelines lists your pipelines. They are changed on the Deals screen.
  • Connections shows your AI key, email sending, the chatbot on landing pages and automations, the same as Plugins.

Common problems

  • Only an owner or admin can change this.: the deal rule is for owners and admins.
  • Only an owner or admin can export the contacts.: ask an owner or admin.
  • If you have switched all in-app notifications off in Account, Notifications, your Kasturi notifications will not reach you until you switch them back on.
  • The workspace has more contacts than one file holds. This file has only the first 50,000.
  • Chatbot conversations are deleted 90 days after their last message. Nothing else is deleted automatically.
